Unlike a photo

If I were to look at photographs of the people, I am about to bring up, I do not know, if any of their features would have caught my attention as much.
Looking at a painting of Jacques Barzun, his jaw seems more likely to be in my memory for a while.
Looking at a lithograph of Hector Berlioz, with features of Robin Williams and a young time look of Abe Lincoln, its a good thing that someone didnt just shoot pictures of them, but got the essence of their appearance in different mediums.
