Something or Nothing

Heard a song on 107.9 FM in the car. I liked the voice and I thought the only lyrics I got was 'something better to do' on the way back home. I googled for it but nothing seemed like the song I heard. I gave up. The next day morning that is today the same song transmits and I go, its the song I heard yesterday that I left unresolved regarding the singer. Atleast I got a better hold of the 'pivot' lyrics.. 'nothing better to do'...how should a listener acquire the sense of what could be the likely title of the song...This is a song by Le Ann Rimes.. younger than me...
